Create a 404 page in your WordPress site
For the plugin to be fully effective, Google requires that you submit an XML map of your WordPress site and set up a Google webmaster account.404 Page
You don’t have go out of your way with 404 Page. just as you normally create pages in WordPress. After this is done, open Settings on your WordPress dashboard. Click 404 error page, and select the page you newly created as your 404 error page. That is all there is to it.

404 to Start catches a 404 error even before search engines do. You can set the redirect to 301 (permanently) which is the default setting. Or you can set it to 302 which is the temporary redirects.

Whenever a user is redirected, you will know what browser they are using and the URL they are trying to access.
